Digging through ponsdotdev/ponsfamily, we found ponscupine_example.md — 243 lines, wiped in a single commit. Ponscupine was never gone. Git just kept him.
It wasn’t obvious at first. Just a deleted file here, a stray asset there… then more. Someone, somewhere, thought this little guy was worth keeping.
